Excellent Property in Skipton Weavers Rest is a quality property in the centre of the lovely market town of Skipton. With private parking and in a quiet location the property was just a 2 minute walk to the High Street with the market stalls and all the shops and restaurants. It was also just a short walk to the bus and railway stations and the canal network with numerous walks. Daleside Retreats were very helpful with good communication and there was plenty of helpful information regarding places to visit left in the property. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales and we will definitely be revisiting at some time in the future.

Spinners View What a beautifully appointed accommodation in a prime location. Just 2 minutes from the high street with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. Centrally placed for Bolton Abbey, Harrogate and Ilkley to name a few. We had an amazing stay!

Just perfect! Julie was great beforehand in answering questions and helping out, and doing so really quickly. The property has been beautifully renovated, with a very high quality finish. Everything we needed had been provided. And it’s possibly the cleanest place I’ve ever seen. If we stay in Skipton in future, it will definitely be here.

Four of us stayed at Spinners View over the May bank holiday. Wow what can I say about this duplex apartment – it’s stunning. The attention to the interior details are lovely – this is obviously a well loved home. It is so well equipped and everything is good quality as well. The bonus was the 2 parking spaces yet the house is right in the centre of the village. We were lucky with the weather and spent evenings in the pretty garden attached to the house. One of the best self-catering places we have stayed in.

Beautifully finished properties in great location with private parking. At end of cul de sac on a private street this is a quiet location yet only minutes walk from Skipton High Street. We have stayed in Weavers Retreat and Spinners View both are on a par for quality so your only decision is one or two bedrooms. Spinners view has aircon in the upper bedroom a rare treat in rentals. Owners very helpful with great on line info and guides. Would highly recommend and look forward to return.

Hidden Gem Spinners View is a beautifully finished property with high end features where victorian charm meets modern convenience. In a quiet peaceful location with 2 car parking spaces yet only minutes from High Street amenities. Attentive owners leave you to get on with your holiday but are available if needed. Try it and you will go back again.

Wonderful Accommodation Just returned from a week’s stay in the Weavers Rest. Fantastic accommodation in a lovely spot just a short stroll to the centre of Skipton. This is a superb base to explore lovely Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. The Weavers Rest has been furnished and made into a beautiful and welcoming holiday home.
Lovely welcome pack on arrival and Skipton has everything you need with plenty shops, bars and restaurants.

We ate at The Railway and Le Caveau, both of which we highly recommend. We hope to return.

Haven 3 minutes from the High Street We felt at home immediately in this beautifully appointed apartment. So cosy and quiet yet a few minutes from the bustling centre. Numerous shops and places to eat on your doorstep plus a castle at the top of the High Street, well worth a visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Weavers Rest is a absolute gem!!A beautifully renovated, immaculately clean, cosy, quiet, comfortable and well equipped place to stay (what more could you want). Weavers Rest is central to all that lovely Skipton has to offer, with shops, bars and restaurants galore. The owners are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is even milk in the fridge, ice in the freezer and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. If you are thinking of booking to stay here then don’t hesitate! We will definitely be returning – thank you to Julie and Vince 😊

Perfect ! We stayed at Spinners View for 7 nights and we couldn’t fault any of it. Spotlessly clean and in a great location this apartment is perfect for exploring the local area, although while it’s right in the middle of Skipton only a short walking distance to the local pubs and restaurants it’s really quiet and peaceful. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings is outstanding making it extremely pleasant and comfortable. We had a fantastic week and will definitely be back later in the year.

Just perfect! What a beautiful ground floor apartment in a lovely quiet road that was near to the high street shops, pubs and restaurants (all walkable and the car was only used when we visited Haworth and neighbouring villages). We have to say it’s some of the most stunning scenery we have seen in this area. The apartment had some lovely welcoming extras and had all you needed. Everything was walkable even the castle and the canal. Everyone in Skipton was so friendly. The parking was the icing on the cake. Shout out to the Curious Fox well worth a visit. We can’t wait to return and explore some more. A big thank you to Julie for being such a wonderful host.

Spinners View – A real gem. This property is a real gem. The conversion has been done to a very high standard and the interior design shows flare and imagination. It has period charm, as well every modern convenience. The beds are comfortable and it is spotlessly clean.
Its location in a quiet street within a stone’s throw of the town centre means that you can explore Skipton and walk to the numerous restaurants and coffee shops with ease.
Skipton is an excellent centre for visiting landmark places of interest, such as York and it’s Cathedral, Betty’s in Harrogate, Castle Howard and Grassington(where they film “All Creatures Great and Small“). At the station, you can catch the train to travel on the world famous Settle to Carlisle line with spectacular views.

A very comfortable, well presented and exceptionally clean apartment less than 5 minutes walk from Skipton high street and castle. The apartment is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with dedicated parking. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
